Burnt Out Lodge was the perfect place for a family reunion of nearly 45 attendees. This included a variety of ages from toddlers to 80+. The Lodge itself was our headquarters and housed nearly half of our group. The others enjoyed either tents or RV’s in close proximity. The large walk-in cooler and freezer, as well as on-site ice-maker were a big hit. The kitchen is where much of the visiting took place, and this kitchen was absolutely amazing. The Drange family were wonderful hosts and all expectations were met during our weekend. They accommodated every request. Our family enjoys music, and the piano was well-used over the weekend. There was plenty of room for outdoor games and events were planned accordingly. There were a few that drove to town for forgotten items – otherwise all chose to stay at the Lodge and just enjoy the time with family.
We will definitely consider using this location again for other family gatherings.
