We, Ruth and Blick Drange, were born and raised on ranches in this area. Cattle and sheep have been pastured here for years. A few years ago we were forced to sell the sheep because of losing so many to predators that it was not profitable. Currently our son, Stewart, runs the ranch with a little of our assistance. Georgina and Andy, two of our other children, both work in Apiaries with honeybees. The fourth child, Marlys, is a Medical Doctor in California. Being semi-retired (or just tired) we are trying to cut back on our duties. One thing we both enjoy is relating stories of our life here on the ranch for over sixty-five years of marriage.
