For the nature lover the lodge is located perfectly.  Step out the door to go fishing for trout in the creek and nearby Boulder and Yellowstone rivers.  View  wildlife as they come to drink from the pond and watch birds visiting our feeders.

Don't miss the breathtaking beauty of Natural Bridge State Park or the novelty of Prairie Dog Town State Park.  Also, Yellowstone National Park is only a few hours away.

Yellowstone National Park is only 2 hours away. Montana is one of the most beautiful places in the world!

Learn About Montana History

If you're interested in learning about Montana history then you'll want to pay a visit to the Crazy Mountain Museum.  The museum is open from Memorial Day through Labor Day.  Among its permanent displays are a model of Big Timber in 1907 and a one-room schoolhouse.  Also the nearby town of Melville features one of the earliest churches in Montana.

Horseback Riding, Fishing, Waterslide and More

If you're looking for more active entertainment there's always the Big Timber Waterslide.  Another option is to go rafting with local guides on the Yellowstone or Stillwater rivers.  Don't forget about horseback riding with local ranchers, fishing, hunting (in season) and golfing.  There are also cutting horse competitions, a sheep drive in Reed Point and local rodeos.

The sandbox and swing set are favorites for the youngsters.

Hunting is one of our main fall activities. We have over three thousand acres in our ranch with deer, antelope and wild turkeys to hunt. Check with us about any restrictions.  Of course we also take part in the fine, Montana tradition of varmint hunting!

Be sure to visit the town of Big Timber.  It's a great place to shop!  You can buy gifts for the folks at home, browse antique shops or buy hiking supplies.

Enjoy horseback riding during your visit. We have great fishing in Montana!

Be sure to ask us if you have any questions about these activities and we'll point you in the right direction!
